About this book
Sara Moore is on the run.
It's 1960s Nebraska, so what's a girl to do?
That's right; hop in a van full of hippies, head to California, change her name, do drugs, and fall under the spell of a magnetic cult leader.
Meanwhile, Officer McIntire takes one look at innocent Sara, now Poppy, and knows he's got to get her out of there.
As the summer heats up and tensions escalate, the goings on in this small Northern California community is soon going to come to a head.
And not everyone will make it out alive.
Trigger Warning: Dark topics ahead! Talk of drugs, cults, and grooming. Strong sexual content, violence, fluid sexuality, and descriptions of past SA, not of the FMC. Read at your own risk!
